Apple 2004

I like my iPod Mini, but I don't love it. The design is elegant and the functions are user-friendly.  But after that... I'm not sure there really is much there.  Battery life sucks and who wants to deal with uploading new music to and from the critter.

I think the rage is getting old and to be quite honest... people look ridiculous walking around with iPod headphones everywhere.  Just wait... as soon as we can stream Internet radio (Radio Paradise; LaunchCast; KPIG; etc...) anywhere who wants the burden of storing and categorizing music.  Just stream it to me real-time -- that would really make Life Random.

I'd be careful Apple.  Life is good these days but don't rest on the success of the iPod -- you could end up like Big Blue.

Poor Airlines

I feel badly for the airlines. They have slim chances to make a buck, and now this... DIET: Feds say obesity epidemic weighing down planes, pushing up fuel costs

This puppy is yours

Wow. Bush's victory caught me by surprise last night. I can't believe that anyone could vote for him based on his record alone. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a crazy liberal here. I'm your classic fiscal conservative, social liberal. But, Bush has been a horrible president who has jeopordized the future of this nation with an insurmountable debt and growing animosity from the rest of the world. That said, I'm ready to accept the situation. Afterall the American people spoke, and it was resounding (which doesn't say much for us). What's amazing to me is how divided this nation is on so many social fronts. An article from the BBC this morning says it best -- Election reveals divided nation.

So George -- No more complaining about what you inherited or how 9/11 affected your presidency. This puppy is yours now. The time has come for you to prove to the American public that cutting taxes while spending like a madman was the right strategy -- no more hiding on this inherited from Clinton crap. You also need to prove how attacking Iraq was justified and how making a majority of Muslims in the world hate us -- let alone the rest of the world -- will make America safer. You have an opportunity to prove the naysayers wrong. You have the House and the Senate, so let's see your "grand plan" come to fruition. I look forward to seeing how this unfolds -- and remember -- this puppy is yours!!!

BTW... I'm frightened.
